They had 1" Backer Rod in stock when Lowe's, Home Depot and Menards did not. Helped me finish a project.

I was extremely pleased with my visit to Great Lakes Ace. They had everything --- including the helpful hardware man!!!😉Everyone was just so helpful and kind! I didn't have to go searching for assistance, & the employees made it a very uplifting shopping experience.

Don’t normally leave reviews and it will sound a bit Boomer but I am annoyed by the customer service I received from the store manager Nate today. Ace Rewards member and shop regularly. Came in for furniture sliders and I impulse bought a $1000+ smoker for which they needed the manager’s help for payment and delivery set up in two separate transactions. Associate was very kind and tried to help but didn’t know how to run the systems. Two times the manager helped me with the major purchase and not once said “thank you”. Just looked at me each time transaction was done and an awkward silence ensued. Meanwhile thanked several passersby at the counter I was at “for coming in” while he was helping me. Supposed to be paying a premium price at Ace to help a local business instead of shipping big box and the trade off is getting better customer service. The store and its management team failed on that promise today.

Shopped at this location because they had a brand of grass seed that i couldn't find elsewhere. Very neat, clean and organized. Helpful employees. In and out quickly.

Huge shoutout to Jim L.! He was incredibly helpful when I mentioned I was new to drilling into concrete. He made sure I had exactly what I needed and even taught me how to use the equipment. Exceptional service!
